The work is
done right.
And we stand
behind it.
Most appliance installers follow the manual. We know what the manual leaves out. Fourteen years, 5,000 jobs, and work ranging from big box retail volume to the most demanding custom kitchens in Southeast Michigan. Every brand. Every situation. Done right the first time.
Every service.
One specialist.
We handle the full scope from the appliance itself to the utility and site work that makes it function properly. One contractor, fewer headaches.
All major appliances installed correctly. Refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, wall ovens, washers, dryers, and everything in between. Every brand, every model.
Authorized Factory Serviceman status isn't a marketing badge — it's a certification Sub-Zero and Wolf issue directly to technicians who meet their standards. It means installations are done to factory spec, and it's what the manufacturer requires for warranty work to remain valid. If your installer isn't AFS certified, your warranty may not be either.
Gas connections, electrical upgrades, plumbing hookups, venting, cabinetry adjustments, custom cutouts, and structural prep. Everything the job needs before and after the appliance goes in.
Subcontractor service from rough-in to final install. We show up on schedule, work clean, and coordinate with your timeline without creating problems for the rest of your crew.
Old unit removal, disposal, and new installation handled in one visit. We coordinate around delivery schedules and handle the site work so you are not juggling multiple contractors.
Cabinetry cuts, floor protection, doorway clearance, and the structural work that makes an installation actually fit. We handle the surrounding work so the job is complete, not just started.
We work well with
three types of clients.
Luxury appliances have tight tolerances and specific requirements. We have worked with these brands long enough to know what can go wrong and how to keep it from happening.
- AFS certified for Sub-Zero and Wolf
- Miele, Thermador, Viking, Dacor and all luxury brands
- Careful handling of finished surfaces and cabinetry
- Professional conduct on your client's property
We have worked as a subcontractor long enough to know what builders actually need. Someone who shows up, communicates, and does not create extra work for the rest of the crew.
- New construction and full renovation experience
- Rough-in through finish-out coordination
- We keep our part of the job moving on your timeline
- Most of Southeast Michigan covered
We do the job properly, explain what we are doing, and if something comes up during or after we deal with it. No surprises in the bill, no disappearing act when there is a question.
- All brands and models, including high-end appliances
- Old appliance removal and disposal available
- Utility hookups handled as part of the job
- Local, insured, and easy to reach when you need us

14 years in the trade.
Built into a specialty.
Steve Moss started out doing general trade work across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Over time the work narrowed to what he was best at. Kitchens and bathrooms became the focus. Appliance and fixture installation became the specialty. That narrowing is intentional — it's what makes the difference between someone who can do the job and someone who has done it hundreds of times before.
The high-volume work for Lowe's, Home Depot, Sears, Hawthorne Appliance, ABC Warehouse, and Sergeant Appliance built the kind of consistency you only get from repetition at scale. The high-end work — in some of the most exclusive homes in Southeast Michigan — built the judgment to handle jobs where getting it wrong is not an option.
Northside Installation Co. is not a franchise, a dispatch service, or a crew of rotating technicians. It is one person who has been doing this long enough to have seen every way a job can go sideways, and who will answer the phone if it does.
"I started doing general trade work. I became a specialist. There is a real difference between the two, and after 14 years the clients can feel it."
